Free 3-Marla Plots. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced to provide of free plots of three marla to the homeless and needy people residing in Punjab province. The main objective of this project is to provide housing facilities to the weaker sections and also to give them ownership of their land. This initiative will benefit thousands of homeless people in the province and will be successful in turning their dream of a roof into a reality.
33 schemes in 22 Districts in the First Phase
The Punjab government has decided to Allocate 1,892 Free 3-Marla Plots in the first phase under 33 housing schemes in 22 districts. These plots will distributed in the following manner, the details of which are given below.
- Rawalpindi Division: 658 plots in 4 districts through 5 schemes
- Faisalabad Division: 288 plots in 5 districts under 4 schemes
- Lahore Region: 518 plots in 3 districts under 5 schemes
- Bhakkar Region: 131 plots in 7 schemes
- Multan Region: 270 plots in 9 schemes in 5 districts
- Bahawalpur Region: 27 plots in 3 schemes
In addition, free 3-marla plots will given to deserving people in Hazro, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin.
