KSrelief Provides Thousands of Winter Kits
Amid the severe winter weather in northern Pakistan, the King Salman Relief Center has launched a large-scale humanitarian initiative. Under the project, 50,000 winter kits are being distributed to help protect deserving people living in 52 of the coldest and snow-covered districts of the country from the cold. Purpose of Distribution of Winter Kits
This initiative by the King Salman Relief Center aims not only to provide immediate relief to families affected by the cold but also to improve the lives of people living in these areas. In particular, 16,000 kits have been allocated for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 12,200 kits have been distributed in 11 districts. The remaining 3,800 kits will soon be distributed in the other 6 districts. All the details of which are given below.

12,200 kits have been distributed in 11 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the remaining 3,800 kits will soon be distributed in 6 other districts. These districts have been the most affected by the severe cold wave, and include:
- Swat
- Dir
- Chitral
- Kohistan
- Bunir
- Shingla

What is Included in the Winter Kits?
Each winter kit includes the following items:
- Two blankets
- Wool shawls for men and women
- Warm clothes for children
