24000 Orphans and Widows Support Cards
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has introduced two important welfare programs, the Roshan Mustaqbal Card and Sahara Card, for financial assistance to 24000 Orphans and Widows Support Cards. Under this scheme, Rs. 5,000 was allocated per month for orphans between the ages of 5 and 16, but the Chief Minister increased this amount to Rs. 10,000 per month at this ceremony.

The Sahara Card program has been launched to help widows. Under this, widows aged 45 years and above were to be given Rs 5000 per month earlier, but the Chief Minister announced on this occasion that this amount would be increased to Rs 10,000.

Around 15,000 widows across the province will benefit from this scheme. The selected women will be transferred the assistance through their cards by the 5th of every month. The government has implemented the latest digital system under the Roshan Mustaqbil Card and Sahara Card, which has made the identification of beneficiaries and their financial assistance more transparent. Screening of applicants will be done through a modern digital system. An online registration system is being introduced to save applicants from long waits. Money will be transferred directly to all beneficiaries through their bank accounts or cards.
